(Calgary, Alberta) – Servus Credit Union has received Downtown Calgary’s Vitality Award for our Free First Thursday community access night at The Glenbow Museum. The award was presented to Servus Credit Union at Downtown Calgary’s Annual General Meeting held on May 10th, 2017.
“Our community access programs highlight recreational and cultural opportunities throughout the province and allow people to experience them for free or a greatly reduced cost.” says Noreen Onofryszyn, Manager of Community Engagement with Servus Credit Union. “Our Glenbow partnership has attracted many first time attendees to the Museum, giving them a wonderful experience free of charge, as well as creating a new group of advocates for the arts in Calgary.”
Downtown Calgary was established in 1988, with the mission to champion a vital, prosperous, attractive and livable downtown community.
The Downtown Vitality Awards are given to businesses annually to recognize significant achievements that enhance the vitality of Downtown Calgary. Categories can change from year to year depending on what is happening downtown.
